Description
The United States Navy is seeking to procure submarine hydro-pneumatic fenders. The fenders must meet specific technical requirements, including a Guaranteed Energy Absorption (GEA) and reaction force at GEA. The contractor will be responsible for the manufacture and delivery of the fenders to CFAC in Chihnae, South Korea. The contract does not require installation services. The Navy will accept ABS approval certification for certain tests, but individual unit-level testing and class-society stamping will be required for other tests.
• The contractor must provide testing and certification requirements for the fenders.
• The contractor must meet the technical specifications outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
• The contractor must provide a proposal that includes pricing and technical information.
• The Navy will evaluate proposals based on technical factors, including the Guaranteed Energy Absorption (GEA) and reaction force at GEA.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including DFARS clauses.
