Fire Station No. 72 Structural Truss Repair Project

The City of Fontana is seeking a licensed contractor to repair and reinforce the structural roof trusses of Fire Station No. 72. The work includes providing temporary shoring, installing engineered glulam beams, adding new support posts and connections, repairing ceiling systems, re‑installing disturbed MEP components, demolition, debris removal, and completing all required permits and inspections. The contract is a short‑term, 30‑working‑day project with a fixed‑price bid and required bid, performance, and payment bonds. • Provide shoring and install new 5‑1/8″ × 24″ glulam support beam under damaged truss. • Install 6×6 posts, king posts, and additional glulam reinforcement beams per engineered drawings. • Replace suspended T‑bar ceiling, relocate lighting, and reinstall ductwork, plumbing, and electrical fixtures. • Perform demolition, debris haulage, obtain permits, and submit as‑built drawings; comply with all applicable California building, fire, energy, and ADA codes.
