20th Avenue Sidewalk and Stormwater Project

The City of Lakewood is seeking bids for the 20th Avenue Sidewalk and Stormwater Project. The project involves the construction of sidewalks, stormwater management systems, and other related infrastructure improvements. The project requires the removal of existing structures, excavation, and the installation of new stormwater pipes, inlets, and other appurtenances. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining access to adjacent properties, protecting existing utilities, and ensuring the safety of workers and the public during construction. Key features of the project include: • Construction of approximately 1,956 square yards of concrete sidewalk • Installation of 368 linear feet of 15-inch reinforced concrete pipe • Installation of 896 linear feet of 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe • Installation of 307 linear feet of 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe • Removal of approximately 3,262 square yards of existing asphalt mat • Removal of approximately 310 square yards of existing concrete pavement The project is expected to require approximately 60 days of traffic control management and inspection.
