Description
The New Bedford Housing Authority (NBHA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide heating unit preventative maintenance services at all state-aided and federally funded public housing developments in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The work under this contract requires annual inspection, testing, periodic and preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair of boilers, furnaces, and heating units. The contract term is for three years.
• The services must be provided in accordance with the bid documents and applicable laws and regulations.
• Bidders must submit sealed bids, which will be publicly opened and read aloud.
• The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in any or all bids or to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
• Opportunity for employment and contracting shall be given to Section 3 eligible residents and businesses to the greatest extent feasible.
