Closed Door Horizontal Baler

The County of Steuben is seeking bids for a Closed Door Horizontal Baler to be used at the Steuben County Transfer Station – Wayland. The baler should be able to bale recyclable materials and have a minimum capacity of 80 cubic feet. The bidder is responsible for furnishing, delivering, and installing the baler. The installation requires a source of electricity to be supplied by the county, and the awardee must make all necessary electrical connections. • The baler must have a minimum platen force of 150,800 lbs and a cycle time of 20-40 seconds. • The bidder must provide a Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate and a Hold Harmless Clause. • The bidder must also provide proof of insurance, including workers' compensation and comprehensive general liability. • The bid must be submitted on the provided bid form and include all required documents.
