The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Protective Clothing & Operational Supplies Rental Services. The scope of work includes providing protective clothing and operational supplies for rental services. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from April 1, 2026 to April 30, 2029. The agreement term may change if CHP makes an award earlier than expected or if CHP cannot execute the agreement in a timely manner due to unforeseen delays.
Key points to consider:
• The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid.
• Bidders must have a past record of sound business integrity and history of being responsive to past contractual obligations.
• Before agreement execution, the winning bidder must supply proof of liability insurance that meets the requirements in Exhibit E, entitled “Insurance Requirements”.
• The successful bidder and all personnel who are assigned to the contract will be subject to a driver license check before access to a CHP facility is authorized.
