Third Street NW Complete Street Project - LAP

The City of Winter Haven is seeking firms to construct a Complete Street Project on 3rd Street NW. The project includes modifications to the roadway geometry, incorporation of a variable-width median, reconfiguration of on-street parking, construction of drainage swales, and installation of sidewalks. The scope of work also includes upgrades to pedestrian crossings, lighting, signage, pavement markings, and on-street parking. The project corridor extends from Avenue D to South Lake Silver Drive. • The project includes a conventional roundabout at the Avenue E NW intersection and a peanut-shaped roundabout at the Avenue F NW intersection. • The scope of work includes upgrades to sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, lighting, signage, pavement markings, and on-street parking. • The project requires construction of 8-foot sidewalks on both sides of the roadway. • The project includes modifications to both horizontal and vertical roadway geometry.
