Grizzly Parkway Sidewalk and Access Improvements

The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Grizzly Parkway Sidewalk Project. The project involves constructing a 5-foot sidewalk along Grizzly Parkway, including clearing and grubbing, grading, removal and replacement of existing fence, traffic control, site safety, erosion and sediment control, and temporary and permanent grassing. The contractor must have experience with similar projects and meet certain requirements, including having a permanent place of business, appropriate technical experience, and the right equipment to perform the work. The bid must include a 5% bid bond, and the successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% payment and performance bond. Key aspects of the project include: • Construction of 725 linear feet of new 5-foot wide concrete sidewalk • Installation of 20 linear feet of 24-inch RCP and two concrete headwalls • Clearing and grubbing, grading, and removal and replacement of existing fence • Traffic control, site safety, erosion and sediment control, and temporary and permanent grassing • Coordination and scheduling with site residents, cleanup, and temporary fencing The City of Lawrenceville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make an award deemed in its best interest.
