small Unmanned Aircraft Systems

The Town of Jupiter is seeking to purchase two small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) for the Jupiter Police Department. The first sUAS is a tactical drone that operates on 5G, can maneuver through 1-2 foot spaces, and must be able to livestream the flight on the evidence platform (Evidence.com). The second sUAS is a traditional drone that flies up to 400 feet, provides overwatch or scans large areas from above, and also operates on 5G and livestreams the flight through Evidence.com. Both drones must be able to download video footage to Evidence.com through a cloud without requiring a digital card to be removed and inserted into a 3rd party computer. The media is encrypted end-to-end and backed by CJIS v6.0 compliant infrastructure. Key requirements for the sUAS include: • Operating on 5G • Livestreaming the flight on Evidence.com • Downloading video footage to Evidence.com through a cloud • Encrypted end-to-end and backed by CJIS v6.0 compliant infrastructure • No insurance requirements • Tax exempt form attached
