Description
The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking sealed competitive bids to supply liquid calcium chloride de‑icer (32 % solution meeting AASHTO M 144) for use on state roadways. The contract will run from Commission approval (anticipated September 2026) through September 30 2027, with a possible extension of up to 24 months, not to exceed a total of 36 months. Bidders must be registered in the state’s MAGIC procurement system and submit both electronic and/or paper bids by 10:30 a.m. CST on September 23 2026. Deliveries are to be made to multiple MDOT locations listed in Attachment D, with full‑truck‑load quantities and FOB MDOT. The award will be made to the lowest‑priced qualified bidder able to deliver within 10 working days; if the lowest bidder cannot, the next lowest will be considered.
