CU Ring Contract

Clemson University is seeking proposals from a qualified supplier to provide Clemson University Rings. The contractor will hold the exclusive rights to manufacture, market, and sell Clemson University class rings. The contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with the design, marketing, and ordering of the class rings, as well as the ring ceremonies that will be conducted twice a year. The contractor must provide an accounting of all revenue derived from the sale of class rings on a monthly basis and pay a commission to the University. The contract term will be a one-year contract, January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027, and renewing automatically for up to four additional terms unless notice is provided to not renew. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must manufacture the rings in accordance with the specifications contained in Appendix A. • The contractor must provide a sample of the Clemson class ring for consideration by the Clemson Alumni Association. • The contractor must have a service policy that includes a warranty for the rings. • The contractor must provide a marketing plan for the marketing of class rings to alumni, graduate students, undergraduate students, and their parents. • The contractor must provide a cost proposal that includes the cost of the proposed solutions, a commission to the University, and a guarantee of commission.
