Description
The City of Danville is seeking quotations for the procurement of 15kV automation-ready pad-mounted switchgear units. The quotation should include pricing for live-front and dead-front designs across configurations 9, 10, and 11. The awarded bidder must deliver the units to the Utility yard by September 1, 2027. The quotation should also include estimated lead times and any technical exceptions.
• The switchgear units should be wholly manufactured, assembled, and tested in North America.
• The units should have a nominal operating voltage of 12.47 kV and a maximum design voltage of 15.5 kV.
• The units should have a basic insulation level (BIL) of 95 kV and a continuous current of 600 amperes.
• The units should have a short-circuit interrupting capacity of 14,000 amperes and a peak withstand current of 36,400 amperes.
