Supervisor Academy Training Program

The City of Lee's Summit is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers to develop and deliver a comprehensive Supervisor Training Academy Program. The program aims to train and develop City Supervisors by providing practical training, professional development, and collaborative learning opportunities. The selected supplier will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the program, which must include a train-the-trainer component to ensure long-term sustainability and internal delivery capabilities. The program should be structured as a series of six day-long sessions over the course of no more than six months, and the delivery should be in-person and utilize engaging, interactive methods. Some key topics that must be covered in the curriculum include leadership and soft skills, human resources, policies, and legal compliance, and operational and procedural "how-tos". The City is looking for a supplier who can provide ongoing support and training to trainers and staff as needed. • The program must be personalized to the City of Lee's Summit's specific policies, procedures, and culture. • The supplier must work with an internal City team to refine the curriculum. • The supplier must develop a detailed project schedule and approach. • The supplier must provide a proposed project schedule and detailed approach. • The supplier must include a digital or physical reference guide for training attendees. • The supplier must provide ongoing support and training to trainers and staff as needed.
