Description
South Carolina’s Department of Social Services is seeking qualified independent instructors to deliver a broad range of training sessions for foster, adoptive, kinship caregivers, agency staff, and other stakeholders. Instructors must possess at least three years of training experience, hold a four‑year degree or ten years of total experience, and be able to teach both in‑person and virtually across flexible schedules. Compensation is per‑session with tiered rates, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly payment cycle. The contract is a fixed‑price, up‑to‑five‑year award with four optional one‑year renewals, and it includes mandatory background checks, a non‑disclosure agreement, and security disclosures.
• Provide instructor‑led training on soft‑skills, leadership, adult services, child‑welfare, economic services, instructional design, and foster/kinship care.
• Deliver sessions ranging from ≤2 hours ($250) up to full‑day (≥6 hours, $500) with mileage reimbursement and a $50 cancellation fee for <24‑hour notice.
• Maintain compliance with background‑check requirements, sign the DSS NDA and security disclosure form, and submit invoices using the provided Excel template.
• Offerors must be registered South Carolina vendors, submit a single electronic bid by 04 Dec 2024, and keep the bid open for 90 days.
• The contract may be exercised in multiple award windows through 2029, with a total possible duration of five years.
