Homebound Supportive Instruction Services

The Christina School District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide homebound and supportive instructional services for students from Pre‑K through 12 who are temporarily unable to attend school. Services may be delivered in‑person at the student’s home, hospital, or a public location, or virtually. The contractor must supply certified teachers (or qualified staff) to meet minimum weekly hour requirements, follow IEP/504 plans, administer state assessments, and submit detailed monthly and quarterly reports. The contract is a three‑year base term beginning Jan 1 2027 with two optional one‑year extensions. • Provide in‑person or virtual tutoring in core subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) for eligible homebound students. • Minimum weekly instructional hours: 3 hrs for K‑5, 5 hrs for grades 6‑12; summer instruction only with district approval. • Vendor must manage background checks, maintain logs for invoicing, and deliver required monthly usage and subcontractor reports.
