Description
The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice is soliciting qualified vendors to operate Teen After‑School Centers (TASC) that serve at‑risk youth (ages 10‑17) on a fixed‑price, one‑year basis with up to four renewal options. The contractor will provide academic enrichment, life‑skill training, recreation, nutrition, and mentorship services at selected sites across the state, complying with strict staffing, background‑check, and reporting requirements.
• Deliver structured classroom instruction, vocational workshops, and recreational activities ≥ 2 hrs/day, ≥ 4 days/week (plus a 3‑week summer program).
• Maintain facilities that include a classroom for up to 15 youth + 2 adults, an indoor recreation area, and kitchen access for snack preparation.
• Provide monthly and quarterly reports (attendance, outcomes, itemized expenses) and adhere to insurance, travel reimbursement, and tax withholding rules.
