Description
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Corrections (MassCor) seeks qualified vendors to provide specialized operational training for its correctional manufacturing facilities, including instructor‑led, e‑learning, or blended delivery methods, and to supply all related training materials at no additional cost to the agency. The contract will be a fee‑for‑service rate contract with an initial one‑year term and up to fifteen optional one‑year renewals, commencing April 2011. Vendors must meet security clearance requirements, carry specified insurance, comply with supplier‑diversity and environmentally‑preferable product mandates, and participate in prompt‑pay and EFT programs.
• Provide specialized training on equipment and processes used in MassCor manufacturing operations.
• Deliver training in English and Spanish, using any approved instructional format (classroom, online, blended).
• Supply all necessary equipment, materials, and handouts at no extra charge; allow MassCor reproduction rights for materials.
• Meet security clearance, background‑check, insurance, and compliance requirements (SBP, Exec. Order 515, PPD, EFT).
• Contract is a rolling‑enrollment rate contract: 1‑year base term with up to 15 one‑year extensions.
