Description
This solicitation seeks a design‑build contractor to execute Phase II interior renovations of Building 3126 (constructed 1944) at the Hampton Roads, Virginia Navy installation. The effort includes demolition, hazardous‑material (asbestos/ACM) abatement, selective interior demolition, new flooring, wall‑base, ceiling work, HVAC upgrades, electrical upgrades, fire‑protection modifications, security system (IDS/ESS) installation, audio‑visual (A/V) system procurement and integration, and procurement/installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E). The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price ID/IQ multiple‑award construction contract (MACC). The base‑price CLIN 0001 covers the full design‑build scope; three optional “Planned Modifications” (CLIN 0002‑FF&E, CLIN 0003‑A/V, CLIN 0004‑ESS) are funded separately after design review and may be awarded at least six months before project completion.
