Description
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the purchase and removal of a house located in Green Valley State Park, Union County, Iowa. The successful bidder will be responsible for removing the structure by June 1, 2026, and leaving the site free of debris. The bid must include a certified check for $500, and the successful bidder must pay the full amount of the bid within 10 days of notification.
• The structure must be removed by June 1, 2026.
• The site must be left free of debris and in an orderly fashion.
• The successful bidder must obtain all necessary permits, including a Sovereign Lands Permit.
• The successful bidder must indemnify and hold harmless the state of Iowa from any injury or damage arising out of the work.
