Description

The City of Warner Robins is seeking bids for the Gas Easement Remediation project, which involves the installation of approximately 144 linear feet of 36" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) for nine culvert crossings, along with associated grading and erosion control measures. The project requires the contractor to coordinate with the owner to verify the exact location and depth of the gas main, and to place geo-fabric and gravel on the access drive path after the culverts are installed. The project also includes the installation of erosion and sedimentation control measures, such as silt fences and sediment barriers. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining access to public, private, and commercial properties at all times during construction, and for restoring any damaged areas to their original condition. • Key aspects of the project include: • Installation of 36" RCP culverts and associated grading and erosion control measures • Coordination with the owner to verify the location and depth of the gas main • Placement of geo-fabric and gravel on the access drive path • Installation of erosion and sedimentation control measures • Maintenance of access to public, private, and commercial properties during construction • Restoration of damaged areas to their original condition

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $1,500,000

Based on the project description, the estimated budget for this project is between $500,000 and $1,500,000. This estimate is based on the scope of work, which includes the installation of culverts, grading, and erosion control measures, and the requirement for the contractor to coordinate with the owner and maintain access to public, private, and commercial properties during construction. The estimate also takes into account the typical costs associated with heavy civil engineering construction projects, such as labor, materials, and equipment costs.
