Playground Equipment

The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive, district‑wide playground equipment solution. The scope includes design, supply, installation, and warranty of commercial‑grade playground structures, engineered wood‑fiber surfacing, border/containment systems, ADA‑compliant ramps, and associated freight/delivery services. Vendors must submit a completed cost spreadsheet, catalogs with standard discounts, and required affidavits; the contract will be awarded to at least three vendors based primarily on lowest evaluated cost (50 % of total points) and also on qualifications, experience, and past performance. The agreement will be a multi‑year (up to five‑year) contract with options for annual price escalation, and all work must meet ASTM F1487, ASTM F1292, CPSC, and ADA standards. • Supply and install a full playground system (equipment, surfacing, borders, ramps) for MNPS schools. • Provide engineered wood‑fiber surfacing covering 4,125 sf and associated installation. • Deliver and install equipment per “base prototype” design, with optional additional product lines. • Must hold a Tennessee Contractor’s License, appropriate insurance, and comply with all safety and accessibility regulations.
