Single Source - Major Source Air Pollution Inspection and Reporting

Shelby County is seeking a qualified vendor to perform EPA‑required inspections and reporting for synthetic minor and Title V major air‑pollution emission sources within the county. The work includes reviewing permits, compliance with NSPS and NESHAP standards, drafting inspection reports, and providing senior‑level review by a P.E. or master’s‑qualified professional. The contract will run for up to one year on an as‑needed basis, and the vendor must have EPA Method 9 opacity certification. • Perform inspections of synthetic minor and major Title V sources and verify compliance with federal, state, and local air‑permit requirements. • Prepare draft inspection reports using the County’s format and provide senior‑level technical review (P.E. or master’s degree required). • Ensure inspectors hold current EPA Method 9 certification and possess experience with NESHAP/NSPS compliance.
