Radiological Equipment Safety Surveys- Sources Sought Only- Federal BOP

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking a contractor to perform biennial on-site inspections and certifications of all BOP medical and dental x-ray equipment. The contractor shall ensure that all diagnostic radiological equipment is maintained and certified in accordance with various federal regulations and guidelines. The scope of work includes radiological safety surveys and evaluations, image quality testing, and recommendations to reduce patient and occupational exposures. The contractor shall also develop an Annual Inspection Schedule and provide training/refresher sessions for new staff. • The contractor shall perform on-site inspections and certifications of all BOP medical and dental x-ray equipment. • The contractor shall ensure that all diagnostic radiological equipment is maintained and certified in accordance with various federal regulations and guidelines. • The contractor shall develop an Annual Inspection Schedule and provide training/refresher sessions for new staff. • The contractor shall submit a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan within 30 days of award. • The contractor shall ensure uninterrupted support and provide fully qualified replacements within 5 business days of notice to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
