Description
The County of Loudoun, Virginia, is seeking a contractor to provide Affordable Care Act (ACA) mandatory employer reporting services. The contractor will be responsible for providing complete administration for the ACA's reporting requirements, including collecting and maintaining enrollment data, analyzing and assigning correct ACA codes, and submitting tax forms to the IRS. The contractor will also provide consultative services related to ACA reporting and compliance, as well as ongoing data management, reporting, administration, and compliance support.
• The contractor must demonstrate financial stability and have been in business providing comparable and similar services for at least five years.
• The contractor must provide an online tool to assist in the administration of measurement periods, administrative periods, and stability periods for new and current employees.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy and Security Rules.
• The contractor must provide a secure audit trail and ensure that all sensitive data is secured and encrypted.
• The contractor must assign a designated account manager and implementation leader to manage the implementation process and coordinate member communications with County staff.
