Solid-State Pump Laser

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Coherent NA Inc. for a Verdi G18 18W solid-state pump laser. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement, but the Government has determined that only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. • The purchase is for a specific type of laser, the Verdi G18 18W solid-state pump laser. • The purchase will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. • The Government has determined that only one responsible source can satisfy the agency's requirements. • Interested parties may still identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement.
