The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking to extend the NAVTAC II contract for an additional 6 weeks. The extension will provide continued technical, operational, and programmatic support for FAA Navigation Programs and Aeronautical Services. The scope of work includes program management, systems integration, technical expertise, and operational support. The incumbent contractor, Tetra Tech, has been performing under the NAVTAC II contract since 2017 and has developed specialized knowledge and expertise in supporting FAA Navigation Programs. The extension is necessary to prevent a lapse in mission-critical services and to ensure uninterrupted support for the FAA's Navigation Programs during the transition period to the competitively awarded NAVTAC III contract.
