Walker Downtown Development Authority Development Plan Proposal

The City of Walker is seeking a consultant to develop a strategic plan for the Downtown Development Authority. The plan should identify opportunities for improvement, internal growth, and organizational development, as well as downtown-based projects and programs for future implementation. The consultant will be required to engage in dialogue with stakeholders, define an organizational mission, establish short, intermediate, and long-term goals, and develop an action plan to achieve the goals. The project is expected to be completed within six months of the contract execution date. The consultant will be required to provide a bound hard copy and a digital copy of the plan, as well as digital access to public engagement activities. • The consultant will be responsible for reviewing the Downtown Development and Financing Plan. • The consultant will be required to engage in dialogue with members of the Downtown Development Authority District and relevant stakeholders. • The consultant will be required to assist in defining an organizational mission and establishing short, intermediate, and long-term goals. • The consultant will be required to develop an action plan to achieve the goals and provide benchmarking to measure goal achievement.
