Description
The County of Gwinnett is seeking a vendor to supply 375 ballistic helmets (or an equivalent quantity) for its Fire and Emergency Services Department. The helmets must meet NIJ Level IIIA standards, be coyote‑brown, under 3 lb, and include full ballistic testing data. Bids are sealed, with pricing and delivery terms to be completed by the vendor. The contract will be awarded shortly after bid opening, and the successful vendor must be ready to fulfill the order within 90 days of award.
• Supply 375 NIJ Level IIIA ballistic helmets (or approved equivalent) meeting strict weight, color, and performance specs.
• Provide pricing per unit, total price, and delivery A.R.O. on the bid schedule; samples may be requested and must be delivered within 5 business days at vendor cost.
• All bids must be submitted sealed by August 19 2026 2:50 p.m.; the bid opening is virtual at 3:00 p.m., with results posted August 20 2026.
• Vendor must certify non‑collusion, complete a Code of Ethics affidavit, and supply three references for similar projects.
• No bid bond is required; payment will be made via ePayables or Direct Deposit after award.
