ONE TIME PURCHASE FOR 30-INCH BUTTERFLY ISOLATION VALVES WITH INSTALLATION INCLUDED

The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and associated services necessary to procure and install two 30-inch butterfly isolation valves within the Central Plant chilled water distribution system. The project includes cutting into existing piping systems, installing the new valves, welding and flanging as required, restoring all affected piping, and returning the system to full operational status. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable industry standards, manufacturer recommendations, and SAWS requirements. • The bid must be received electronically or by sealed bid in the Purchasing Office by the specified date and time. • A mandatory site visit will be held on August 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM CT for all prospective bidders to clarify any questions pertaining to the specifications. • Bidders are encouraged to prepare and submit their questions in writing three calendar days in advance of the pre-bid conference. • The period of acceptance of this bid will be 90 calendar days after the bid opening date.
