Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking competitive bid proposals from qualified vendors to provide radio tower lighting monitoring services and make proper notification upon lighting failure. All tower locations are within the State of Kansas. The contractor will be responsible for monitoring the lighting systems and reporting any failures to the Kansas Department of Transportation. The contract period is from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2028, with the option to renew for three additional 12-month periods. The key services required include:
• Monitoring of tower lighting systems
• Notification of lighting failures
• Provision of monitoring equipment and software
• Maintenance and repair of equipment
• Training and support for Kansas Department of Transportation personnel
The bidder must provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach, methodology, and experience in providing similar services. The proposal must include a technical proposal, cost proposal, and any other required documents.
