Industry Day Announcement for The Dalles transformers 9,10,11 repairs

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting an industry day to provide a project update and gather industry input for the repair of transformers 9, 10, and 11 at The Dalles Dam in Oregon. The project involves repairing the failed T10 transformer and improving the neutral conductor support to improve cooling, as well as performing the same improvements on the T9 and T11 transformers to prevent in-service failure. The industry day will include a project overview, environmental and safety considerations, breakout Q&A sessions, and networking with peers and program leadership. * The project requires heavy and civil engineering construction contractors who can provide construction services for The Dalles Dam. * The transformers are 230,000/132,790-13200 Volt, 233,000 kVA class FOA three-phase transformers manufactured by General Electric in 1972. * The proposed procurement will perform a repair of the failed T10 transformer and improve the neutral conductor support to improve cooling. * The industry day will be held on January 29th, 2026, and interested parties should send an email to the points of contact to request an invitation.
