PLUNGE AND DIVE POOL RESURFACING

The City of New Port Richey is seeking bids for the resurfacing and re-tiling of the Plunge and Dive Pool. The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to provide the owner with the following project elements: plunge pool and dive pool resurfacing, tile replacement, and installation of new white goods. The contractor will be responsible for verifying all dimensions, quantities, and current conditions. The work shall be in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Some key aspects of the project include: • Draining and disposing of existing pool water • Inspecting the pool structure, shell, and surface for cracks, delamination, or deterioration • Mechanically preparing and resurfacing the pool interior with a new preferred brand, Diamond Brite Exposed Aggregate Pool Finish • Replacing all existing pool tiles and wall cup anchors • Installing new white goods, including Virginia Graham Baker (VGB) Act-compliant main drain frames and grates • Removing and replacing self-leveling adhesive at concrete expansion joints • Cleaning, curing, and filling the pool; balancing water chemistry for startup
