Proposed Traffic Signal, Brady Street (IA 461 N) at 12th Street

The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the proposed traffic signal on Brady Street at the 12th street intersection. The project involves installing a new traffic signal at this intersection. The contract time shall be per SUDAS Section 1080-1.02, A.1, Completion Date Contracts, and the contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment, by July 1, 2026, unless modified by Change Order. • The project includes installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Brady Street and 12th Street. • The contractor shall provide and maintain protection devices at all times during the project to ensure no concrete slurry, silt, or other undesirable debris leaves the project site or enters the storm sewer system. • The contractor shall conduct the work to create a minimum amount of inconvenience to traffic and maintain access to all residences and businesses. • The contractor shall provide 72-hour advance notice of all lane restrictions, street closures, and detours on the davenportiowa.com/roadwork website after pre-approval by the Engineer. • The contractor shall establish and maintain appropriate traffic control in accordance with SUDAS Section 8030 and as directed by the Engineer.
