The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Autologous Transfusion (Cell Saver) Services for the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, management, materials, supplies, and other elements necessary to provide complete Autologous Transfusion (Cell Saver) Services. The services will include basic autotransfusion, mini autotransfusion, equipment and supplies, transportation and travel time, response time and quantities, and quality management program. The contractor will also provide key personnel, including registered nurses and certified technicians, and will be responsible for maintaining environmental sanitation and reporting requirements. • The contractor will provide Autologous Transfusion (Cell Saver) Services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. • The contractor will provide two contractor-owned cell-saving machines that will be placed in the operating room and remain there for the duration of the contract. • The contractor will not be required to perform in excess of three basic and one mini service at any one time under this contract. • The contractor will be responsible for providing the necessary machine(s) along with the disposable bowl and reservoir. • The contractor will ensure that all equipment and supplies are in pristine condition and not expired.
