The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Renovate Outdoor Athletic Facility and Track to Improve Safety and Performance project at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
The outdoor track and field facility, constructed in 1972, is located south of the Plattsburgh Field House and encompasses an overall footprint of approximately 311,000 SF. The track and field facility underwent its last major renovation in 1990 and is currently in poor condition. The facility does not meet current SUNYAC and NCAA standards. It has been unusable for approximately ten years, has exceeded its useful life, and requires full replacement.
The project will replace the obsolete, non-compliant track and field facility with a SUNYAC/NCAA-compliant complex featuring a new 8-lane track, synthetic turf infield, field event areas, bleachers, lighting, press box, scoreboard, drainage, ADA-accessible restrooms/routes, fencing , and parking improvements, supporting athletics, competition hosting, and campus/community use.
The construction value is estimated to be approximately $10,500,000.
