Description
The Warren County Board of Supervisors is seeking proposals from qualified equipment vendors/dealers to provide one new trailer-mounted brush chipper unit for use by the Warren County Road Department. The equipment must be new, of the latest improved model in current production, and of first-quality materials and workmanship. The bid file number is 2025-1215.
Key requirements include:
• The brush chipper must have a minimum 15" capacity class and be trailer-mounted.
• The equipment must meet or exceed the detailed specifications provided, including engine, trailer, cutting system, feed system, discharge system, clutch, feed bars, hydraulic system, instrumentation, and storage/security features.
• The bidder must provide information on a factory-authorized repair facility within the State of Mississippi and within 75 miles of the Warren County Road Department.
• The bidder must provide a full description of all warranty terms and conditions, including a minimum one-year parts and labor warranty and a three-year structural warranty.
