2026 DELANO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (DLO) WASH RACK EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT PROJECT

The City of Delano is seeking bids for the procurement of a Total Aircraft Wash System and a Package Rinse Water Filtration and Filling System for the Delano Municipal Airport. The scope of work includes the furnishing of one Total Aircraft Wash System equipped with wash, turbine engine flush, foamer, air compressor in one compact unit, and one package rinse water filtration and filling system with processed water holding capacity of 2,300 gallons. The project is funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is subject to all applicable FAA regulations, standards, and guidelines. The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in accordance with these federal requirements to ensure compliance and eligibility for funding. • The Total Aircraft Wash System must meet certain specifications, including a diesel-powered engine, a direct coupled pressure pump, and a built-in high capacity foamer. • The Package Rinse Water Filtration and Filling System must meet certain specifications, including a processed water holding capacity of 2,300 gallons, a production rate of 10 GPM, and a self-power generator on board. • The contractor must provide training and manuals for the operation and maintenance of the equipment. • The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the contract documents and the applicable laws and regulations.
