Amendment-01 FD20302600598_FA811826R0033- Overhaul of B1 Torque tube assembly

The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor for the overhaul of B-1 Torque tube assemblies. The contract is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract with a 5-year ordering period. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish the remanufacture of the torque tube assemblies. The work includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, re-assembly, testing, and finishing actions required to return the item to a like-new condition. Key points to consider: • The contract has a minimum quantity of 5 and a maximum quantity of 180. • The contractor must comply with the higher-level quality standard(s) listed in the contract. • The contractor must also comply with the standard(s) listed for packaging and marking. • The contract includes provisions for over and above work, which means work discovered during the course of performing overhaul, maintenance, and repair efforts that is not covered by the basic contract. • The Government reserves the right to delete each line item of data and/or reports prior to and after final award. Some of the key terms and conditions of the contract include: - A 5-year firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract. - The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment, and material to accomplish remanufacture. - Qualification requirements apply, and interested vendors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. - The contractor must comply with the higher-level quality standard(s) listed in the contract. - The Government has the option to increase the quantity of supplies or services called for under this contract. - The contract includes provisions for over and above work.
