ITB No. 26-2963-5JL - Three Chopt Road Improvements

The County of Henrico is seeking a contractor to redesign and reconstruct a 2.174‑mile segment of Three Chopt Road. The scope includes widening the existing roadway, constructing new alignment, installing curb & gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage systems, box culverts, and upgrading water and sewer utilities, ending with pavement resurfacing. This is a full‑service civil construction effort requiring expertise in roadway engineering, heavy equipment operation, and utility coordination. • Realign and construct 2.174 mi of roadway with new pavement and sub‑base. • Install curb & gutter, sidewalks, and both enclosed and open storm‑drainage structures. • Perform water and sewer improvements, including box culvert installation, to meet current code standards. • Deliver all related civil engineering, grading, and utility relocation services under a single contract.
