Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for data/network and voice cabling services. The contract is a 100% Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside, and all eligible quoters are encouraged to submit quotes. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with one year ordering periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing data and voice cabling installation services to the Miami VA Healthcare System.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing data and voice cabling installation services
• Complying with all Federal laws, regulations, standards, and VA Directives and Handbooks regarding information and information system security
• Ensuring the security of all procured or developed systems and technologies
• Notifying the VA within 24 hours of the discovery or disclosure of successful exploits of the vulnerability which can compromise the security of the systems
• Remediation of vulnerabilities in a timely manner based on risk, but within 60 days of discovery or disclosure
