Description
The Forsyth County Public Library is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive landscape maintenance services for five library branches and the central administrative offices. The contract covers routine mowing, edging, weed control, pruning, mulching, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep of lawns, plant beds, parking lots, sidewalks, and bioswale areas. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre‑bid conference on October 5, 2026 for each site and submit sealed bids by October 22, 2026. The award will be made after bid evaluation; the contract is initially for one year with the possibility of two additional one‑year renewals.
• Scope: mowing, edging, weed/weed‑killer application, pruning, mulch and pine‑straw installation, debris removal, irrigation reporting, and seasonal maintenance.
• Locations: Cumming Library & Admin Offices, Hampton Park Library, Post Road Library, Sharon Forks Library, Denmark Library (Alpharetta).
• Mandatory pre‑bid attendance; no questions accepted after October 9, 2026.
• Required insurance: Workers’ Comp, $1M general liability, $1M auto liability, $1M umbrella, additional insured status.
• Payment: monthly rates per site; total annual cost to be quoted by bidders.
• Contract may be awarded per‑location or as a single award; optional yard‑waste, pine‑straw, and mulch services may be added later.
