NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A HUBZONE SOLE SOURCE: E-6 Portable Automated Test Set (PATS)70-A Fuel Quantity Indicating System (FQIS) Build-to-Print Kits

The Department of the Air Force intends to award a sole-source contract for the manufacturing and delivery of custom E-6 Portable Automated Test Set (PATS)70-A Fuel Quantity Indicating System (FQIS) Build-to-Print Kits. The contract is valued at $400,000 and has a performance period of 25 weeks. The contractor will be required to manufacture, test, and deliver 7 custom kits in accordance with the Government's Technical Data Package (TDP). The kits are critical to diagnosing 16 aircraft components on Navy aircraft, E-6, and the Boeing Airborne Command and Control aircraft. • The contractor must have highly specialized manufacturing capabilities to ensure compatibility with existing legacy enclaves. • The contract is a firm-fixed-price contract. • The Government has determined that only one HUBZone small business concern, Cherokee Nation Aerospace Defense, possesses the required technical capability, tooling, and certified quality controls to meet the immediate delivery schedule. • Other HUBZone sources may submit a written technical capability statement demonstrating their ability to manufacture and deliver identical, fully compliant cables.
