Description
The State of California is seeking qualified contractors to supply, install, and commission electric‑vehicle charging stations (EVSE) at two sites in Mendocino County (Fort Bragg and Willits). The work includes electrical distribution, conduit and wiring, civil site work (grading, asphalt/concrete paving, bollard installation, trenching), testing, commissioning, and all related documentation. Bidders must be certified Small Business entities, hold a valid C‑10 electrical license, and provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price. A mandatory virtual pre‑bid site inspection is required, and the contract period is 60 calendar days after notice to proceed, with liquidated‑damage penalties for delays.
• Electrical scope: installation of Level‑2 and DC fast‑charging stations, panels, transformers, and network‑management equipment.
• Civil scope: site clearing, grading, trenching, asphalt and concrete paving, bollard/parking‑bumpers, ADA‑compliant signage and tactile‑warning surfacing.
• Compliance: prevailing‑wage rates, CRC for off‑road diesel fleet vehicles, small‑business preference, and extensive safety/health mandates.
