Description
Cecil County Government is requesting quotations from parties skilled and experienced in acquiring and processing aerial flown orthoimagery. The resulting aerial imagery shall be used in Cecil County Government's enterprise-wide geographic information systems platform for a variety of applications. The project includes acquiring six inch pixel RGBN orthoimagery in late February-early March 2026 time frame, with a minimum 33 degree sun angle, cloud free, no snow cover, leaf off imagery. The contractor will be responsible for acquisition of the orthoimagery, ground control surveys, aero triangulation, seamline matching, orthoimagery processing, QA/QC of the orthoimagery, and delivery of final imagery product.
• The final imagery deliverable shall consist of a County wide mosaic image in .ecw file format and tiles images in .jp2 file format and .sid (Generation 3) file format.
• The images shall be tiles to Cecil County's existing tile grid and include all associated spatial reference files.
• All imagery shall be provided in the NAD State Plane Maryland FIPS 900 US Feet), Lambert Conformal Conic projection.
• The contractor is expected to proceed with alacrity and within minimum supervision by Cecil County staff.
• Providing regular email or telephone updates to the County's GIS Manager regarding the project's status is required.
• The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, permits, etc. necessary to perform the mentioned work.
• The contractor shall be responsible for any and all injuries to persons and damages to property resulting from the performance of the work specified, materials applied and/or equipment used.
