Description

The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services is seeking comprehensive water quality testing services for drinking fountains and water sources at its facilities throughout Maryland. The contractor will be required to provide a cost-per-test rate for each region, and the total number of water sources listed per region is an estimate. The contract is based on a firm fixed price, and the State will use the cost-per-test rate multiplied by the estimated total water sources to determine the evaluated bid price. Some key points to consider include: • The total number of water sources is approximately 258 across all regions. • The contractor must provide a cost-per-test rate for each region. • The contract does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity of work. • The bid must be submitted electronically through eMMA. • The contractor must complete the bid sheet in its entirety without alterations, exceptions, or additions. • The person signing the bid sheet must be an officer of the company or an authorized person with proof of authority.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

Based on the information provided, it's difficult to estimate the exact budget, but we can make an educated guess. With approximately 258 water sources across all regions, and assuming an average cost-per-test rate, the total budget could range from $100,000 to $500,000. This estimate takes into account the firm fixed price contract and the fact that the contractor will be required to provide a cost-per-test rate for each region. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the actual number of water sources, the cost-per-test rate, and any additional services that may be required.
