Description
The Employment Development Department (EDD) is seeking a contractor to provide "As Needed" Assistive Technology Training Services for EDD employees in Southern California. The contractor will provide software training services to ensure EDD employees who use assistive technology have proper training on software programs such as JAWS and Dragon Naturally Speaking. The contractor must have experience in providing remote assistive technology training and have extensive knowledge of software features. The contract term is from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029.
• The contractor will provide training services Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding state holidays.
• The contractor must have the ability to provide remote training and in-person training per enrolled employee.
• The contractor agrees that the cost for transportation is to be included in the hourly rate.
• The contractor agrees that any subcontractors to this Agreement must be approved in advance by EDD.
