Description
The Fayette County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the purchase of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) systems for use in fire suppression, rescue, and emergency operations. The selected vendor will provide new SCBA units, all required components for full operational readiness, initial setup and configuration, training options, and warranty and service support information. The SCBA systems must meet or exceed the minimum requirements specified in the bid document, including compliance with NFPA 1970 standards and compatibility with modern fireground operations.
• The department anticipates purchasing approximately 122 SCBA packs, 312 Face Pieces, 288 total cylinders, and 5 RIT packs.
• Initial user and technician training options will be provided.
• The vendor will provide a warranty and service support information, including manufacturer warranty details, expected service life, replacement part availability, and service turnaround times.
