DNT Intersection Improvements

The City of Celina is seeking bids for the construction of the DNT Intersection Improvements project. The project includes the reconstruction of Light Farms Way at Dallas Parkway and Punk Carter Parkway at Dallas Parkway to accommodate additional lanes and realign pavements in coordination with NTTA’s Dallas Parkway improvements. The project includes roadway paving, grading, landscaping, hardscape, irrigation, and traffic signals. The budget estimate for the project is $3.45 million, and the expected duration is 360 calendar days. • The project requires bidders to submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. • The successful bidder must furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The City of Celina has adopted prevailing wage rates for Collin County and uses the most current listing. • Bidders are expected to inspect the work site and inform themselves about the conditions under which the work is to be done.
