Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber in Goethe State Forest, located in Alachua and Levy Counties, Florida. The salvage sale includes dead and green pine timber and will be designated by the Forester-in-Charge or his representative. The buyer will not be required to harvest timber that is not merchantable or to harvest timber located in an area, as determined by the Forester-in-Charge, to be of insufficient size or economically unviable to harvest.
• The salvage sale is based on an as needed basis as determined by the Forester-in-Charge.
• All harvesting operations must start within ten (10) days of notification.
• The length of the agreement is twelve (12) months.

• The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
