Description
The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) is seeking sealed responses for Shoe Sole Pellets. The major customer for these items is the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The contract term commences on the effective date set out in a Notice of Award issued by CPA and automatically expires on September 30, 2027, with the option to renew for up to four additional years.
Key requirements include:
• Thermo Plastic Resin (TPR) Compound with specific properties and testing standards
• Laboratory Test Results (LTR) from a certified laboratory
• Compliance with Texas SmartBuy online ordering system and pricing structure
• Insurance coverage, including commercial general liability and workers' compensation
• Submission of a Mandatory Price Sheet and other required documents
The evaluation of responses will be based on responsiveness, risk of non-performance, best value, and other factors.
The contract will be awarded to the vendor providing the best value to the state.
